About
The Knowledge Hub was established at Saint Martin's Catholic Academy in Leicestershire by Clive Wright @Irenaeus1969, the Principal, to support and promote a Knowledge-rich Curriculum through networking and support with like minded teachers and school leaders.
Loraine Lynch-Kelly @perdita1485, Vice-principal, is currently seconded from the school and coordinates the outreach work of the Hub. Her primary role at present is managing the Curriculum Project set up by the Department for Education, developing knowledge-rich science resources across 14 schools across the Midlands.

Saint Martin's was previously a Leicestershire 11-14 High school that converted to become an 11-16 Academy in 2014 delivering GCSEs for the first time in 2016. Through the inspiration of other great schools and teachers who pioneered this approach (Thank you Michaela Community School and others!) we have been developing a Knowledge-rich curriculum and related strategies for a number of years now. Saint Martin's is part of the Saint Thomas Aquinas Catholic Academy Trust.
With the increased interest in a Knowledge-rich approach to education, and related strategies, we set up the Hub and have now established a Steering group to increase the capacity of the network.
