An introduction to Direct Instruction - June 24th 2019
Direct Instruction is unparalleled in its ability to improve student performance, but it is much more than simply purchasing instructional materials.
On the morning of 24th June, 2019, The DI Training Hub (Part of the The Midlands Knowledge Schools Hub) will be hosting their first navigation through the National Institute of Direct Instruction practices, programmes and presentation books.
Direct Instruction is suited to any child who is not secure or not mastered the basics of Maths, English and Science.
Programmes include reading, writing, spelling, comprehension, and all areas of mathematics. DI is delivered in both primary and secondary schools across the UK. This first conference will be an opportunity to ask questions and meet other professionals who share an interest in the DI model.
