The Exemplary Leadership Programme
Developed by a team of expert school leaders and educationalists, our Exemplary Leadership Programme is a unique one. It is designed to help school leaders of all settings develop their school leadership knowledge in very specific domains:
1. How to establish and maintain exemplary behaviour and school culture.
2. How to work with subject leaders to develop a knowledge-rich curriculum.
3. How to ensure that curriculum is enacted brilliantly, grounded in what we know works and respecting subject disciplines.

What is the Exemplary Leadership Programme? (ELP)
Educational research tells us that a strong behaviour culture, and an ambitious, sequenced curriculum delivered with strong teaching transforms children’s outcomes, lives and life chances!
Our Programme has been developed by The Knowledge Schools Hub with a team of expert school leaders and educationalists. Its content is crafted and sequenced to ensure those who can effect whole-school change, in any school setting, can build their school leadership knowledge in three very specific domains, and will leave them empowered to enact it for secure and rapid impact:
- Establishing and embedding exemplary behaviour and an exemplary school culture.
- Working with subject leaders to develop a knowledge-rich curriculum.
- Ensuring that curriculum is enacted highly effectively, grounded in what we know works, and respecting subject disciplines.
The Knowledge Hub is home to the ELP, and participants on the Programme will be able to access the wealth of knowledge and expertise the Hub provides, too.
